Get jobs like this by email... (We will never pass your details to third parties)

A leading life insurance firm based in SW London with a presence across more than 58 countries are looking to strengthen their already technically strong and busy financial reporting division by adding a Statutory Reporting Accountant to the team for an initial 12 month FTC period.

The role itself is sitting within the group finance team reporting into the Senior Statutory Accountant and will involve you preparing the statutory financial statements (under FRS102) for a number of entities across Europe as well as gathering data from business units and third parties and consolidating, reviewing and analysing the results. You will also have the opportunity to get involved in the information and analysis for the Solvency II reporting and manage the relationships with the groups auditors, tax advisors and other parties as directed by the UK GFC and CFO. Due to the growing and changing nature of this business, there will also be a chance to get stuck in to any adhoc project work as required.

To be considered for this role suitable candidates will be qualified Accountant (ACA from top 10 practice preferred however ACCA/CIMA also considered) with 2 years’ experience within the insurance market. You will be expected to challenge the status quo and demonstrate your strong technical accounting ability. On top of this SAP experience would be desirable but not essential. In return you will work with a committed team of accountants within a company with excellent retention levels who believe that training and development of each staff member is key. If you think you would be suitable for the role please get in touch on 0207 464 1927 or email your CV to (email address removed)
