Sellick Partnership have an exciting opportunities to join a Public Sector organisation based in Wakefield. Our client is looking for a temporary Project Support Officer to join their busy Finance team.

As a Project Support Officer you will be responsible for:

  • Organisation, arrangement and support facilitation of training sessions, monitoring attendance and following up non-attendees.
  • Translate agreed processes into official documentation, ensuring that quality standards
  • Produce programme/project communication including the set up and maintenance of webpages, management of the incoming programme emails and associated meeting requests.
  • Organisation of meetings including preparation of agendas, taking minutes and distributing notes of minutes
  • Organise workload effectively to ensure that meetings and reports are provided in a timely manner.
  • Ensure that project work and reporting of such is conducted in a timely and efficient manner and that timescales are achieved.
  • Respond professionally, positively and promptly to all enquires and incoming calls etc taking the appropriate course of action, redirecting and liaising with others as necessary.

The Project Support Officer role must:

  • Have record of working in a similar role previously
  • Have excellent administrative skills
  • Be proactive and have the ability to use own initiative to work independently
  • Be able to manage workload to meet tight deadlines
  • Have excellent organisation skills
  • Be able to pay close attention to detail
