Currently looking for an Emergency Response Officer for Westminster City Council.

Purpose of Job:

To provide an emergency response service to Service Users who are connected to the Lifeline Alarm Service, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • To provide emergency short-term assistance to frail or vulnerable residents of Westminster, particularly those with dementia.
  • To provide safety checks to any Westminster residents’ as requested by Social Services or other third parties out of hours and at weekends, liaising with the Emergency Duty Team out of hours.
  • To provide a responsive keyholding service for Lifeline/Telecare alarm users and Social Services clients.
  • Installation and maintenance of Lifeline alarms and Telecare equipment completion of associated administration 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 d a year.
  • Liaise with the appropriate housing management contractor over changes to residents' housing needs, to pass on their requests for repairs and aids adaptations.
