Administrator – Manchester – 3 Months – Up to £10.81ph PAYE

Excellent opportunity for an Administrator to join a large rail organisation based in Manchester on an initial 3 month contract being accountable for dealing with queries across all HR Shared Services functions.

The role will involve:

  • Logging, answering and resolving first point of contact queries coming into HR Shared Services by telephone call, email and post for all HRSS functions including recruitment, training, medicals, payroll, benefits, data services and support.
  • To answer and resolve queries within agreed customer service level agreements and quality standards.
  • To respond professionally and courteously to all customers contacting HR Shared Services.
  • To hand off queries correctly to the HR Shared Services production or support teams in cases where resolution is not possible at first point of contact.

The successful candidate will ideally have:

  • Strong administration experience, ideally within a HR function
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to manage customer queries
  • High standard of verbal and written communications
  • Ability to work in highly pressurised environment and to tight deadlines
  • Positive attitude with the capability to prioritise a busy workload
  • Good skills in Microsoft office products
