Project Coordinator

We are currently seeking a Project Coordinator on behalf of our client in the East London area.

The Project Coordinator will support the Head of Department and their team to ensure their workstream of programmes are planned and managed effectively and take the lead in assisting in their successful delivery.

Main Duties:

  • Managing the team's business support function, including developing and managing the teams business plan.
  • Managing corporate business returns including planning and workforce returns.
  • Ensuring information is properly managed and best practice is shared across the team and business via the content management system.
  • Coordinating training, development and recruitment across the teeam
  • Overseeing team budgets
  • Maintaining constructive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Contributing to performance improvement
  • Contribute to the strategic planning of Team projects

Essential Skills / Experience:

  • Understanding of the Public Sector
  • Experience of managing a team
  • Knowledge of Financial Systems such as monitoring budget management, processing invoices and procurement
  • Proven experience of managing risks and reporting
  • Proven experience of coordinating projects in complex and challenging environments
