Finance Analyst

Sellick Partnership are recruiting on behalf of an established NHS organisation, within Greater Manchester, for a 12 month Finance Analyst interim role. The purpose of the role is to support the Senior Finance Manager in the accurate and timely completion of the management accounting information, the monthly position and forecasting of corporate non-pay budgets, all income, and to report on payroll information.

Key responsibilities of the Finance Analyst:

  • Taking a lead of the agreement of balances, planning and co-ordination the process and the work of the team
  • Contributing to the production of the monthly Senior Management Team finance report, working with and developing complex spreadsheets with will require a high degree of accuracy
  • Contribute to the finance departments month end process by ensuring that all relevant working papers are reconciled
  • Contribute to the annual budget, by liaising with internal stakeholders to prepare financial planning information
  • Manage the monthly reconciliations of working papers to the ledger system
  • Accrual and prepayments, running reports and analysing data

Required skills and experience of the Finance Analyst

  • Knowledge of double entry bookkeeping
  • Detailed knowledge of agreement of balances processes
  • Detailed knowledge of NHS Accounting Policies
  • Ability to analyse complex sets of data or statistics into the required outcome
  • Numerate with strong analytical and reasoning sk8ills
  • Stakeholder management

This is fantastic opportunity to join a well-established, team on a 12 month basis, covering a maternity leave.
