Lead Generator (Business Develelopment) – London – Permanent - £50-60K (dependent on experience)

We are currently recruiting for a Lead Generator to work for a major global organisation that specialises within the telecoms sector to work within the Business Development area of the business. This role would be particularly suited to candidates with proven experience of lead generation within IT/telecoms sectors.

Knowledge of Managed Cloud Services is an integral part of this role. This role will provide the successful candidate the opportunity to work with a very large global organisation

Role responsibilities

  • Implementation of a Business Development Strategy for lead generation focussed on the sales portfolio for Managed Cloud Services to Enterprise customers in the UK marketplace.
  • Provide Leadership for lead generation across the Sales organisation and become a point of excellence for generating qualified leads.
  • In addition to generating their own leads take responsibility for the existing lead generation agencies, ensuring that they are aware of the portfolio and representing the business professionally and providing quality leads.
  • Responsible for ensuring we have maximum attendees for our bespoke events ie Business Breakfast, Panel events
  • Work in line with Marketing to ensure leads from events are activated and monitored
  • Coherent Business Development Strategy for lead generation implementation plan across the IT Division in the UK
  • Sales familiarity and performance with Cloud Services

Desirable experience required

  • Proven record in lead generation
  • Ability to communicate
  • Business Development / Pre-sales role with demonstrable success.
  • Exceptional customer facing presentation skills, in a “selling capacity”, public speaking experience useful.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and report writing skills
  • Experience in outsourcing of IT Services and provision of Managed Cloud Services
  • Pre-sales / consultancy selling skills relevant and useful
