Our client is an International Financial Services Organisation based in London who are looking to recruit a HR Rewards/ Compensation AVP (Assistant Vice President) to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:
Supporting the Reward Manager in providing support on compensation and regulatory matters to the business and HR function. Accountable for designing and driving relevant Reward processes across the business in order to contribute to the creation of a successful high performance culture, with a primary focus on the day-to-day delivery and support for the allocated business areas. You will lead with Reward reporting and MI, including assisting with the design, development and running of reports for senior management, including the annual budgeting process, lead with designing and developing Reward models for fixed and variable pay funding and allocation.

You will be responsible for providing support on Reward projects, including regulatory reviews (Material Risk Takers, CRD IV), job grades and other ad hoc projects to ensure the accuracy and consistency of Reward information. Provide support during the annual Compensation Review by providing gold plated Reward support for the assigned divisions. Support the administration of the deferral plans, including the calculations for annual Plan funding, vesting payroll instruction review and confirmation, outstanding deferrals for leavers and deferral modelling for any changes to deferral plans. Key contact for Finance on a monthly basis regarding bonus accrual and deferrals and assist with any other ad hoc Reward reviews or queries. Support colleagues in the delivery of reward and compensation activities, enabling effort to be spread across the wider reward team to manage peak periods of work. Ensure high performance culture and pay for performance are delivered through compensation processes. Support the preparation and outcomes from the regional, as well as supporting the completion of regulatory reporting / annual submission to local and International regulators and ensuring they comply with all regulatory requirements relating to reward and compensation.

Ideal experience required for this role:
Ideally have a University degree or equivalent, preferably in Business, Economics, Finance and Human Resources
Previous HR Reward/ Compensation APV/ Management, Finance related experience or equivalent is desirable
Ideally have experience working within International and/or National Bank, Building Society, Financial Services or similar financial/ banking industry sector
Experience managing HR operations and Compensation operations processes and services
Good level of numeracy skills - Advanced Excel modelling skills.
Excellent knowledge of and the PRA/FCA Remuneration Code
Risk and Compliance experience
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills, ability to present data and recommendations in an organised and logical manner
Ability to take information and data and analyse it in order to come up with solutions
Strong Project management experience
Exceptional communication skills
Self-motivated with a strong focus on high performance
Excellent IT systems knowledge and experience
