What are we looking for?

Our client are looking for an experienced Service Demand (Resourcing) Manager to actively manage and provide operational support on the scheduling of the Project & Support / BAU / and Change priorities teams.

You’ll be liaising with Project Managers and Team Leaders to understand the work demands assigned to their teams; managing team and individual workflows, prioritising what needs to be done in what order; resolving resource conflicts and blockers; attending regular change log meetings; and running morning stand-up meetings to discuss workload and requirements.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

Essential:

  • Good analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and to liaise with stakeholders.
  • Ability to decompose large problems into smaller ones, devising solutions to resolve them, and then joining these small solutions together to solve the original large problems.
  • Ability to coordinate different activities with diverse business units.
  • Experience of working with risks and issues register,
  • Project tool and project experience to manage conflicting demands.
  • Agile qualification and experience in working in an Agile environment
  • Good analytical and communication skills;
  • Experience working with Service Management toolsets (preferably ServiceNow and Remedy).
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products, particularly MS Excel and MS Project
  • Demonstrable experience of prioritising workload against teams.

Desirable:

  • Experience working within technical teams.
  • Experience working in an IT Service Management role
  • Line Management experience
  • Experience of working with budgets and commercial contracts
  • ITIL foundation v3

It is essential that you currently hold or are able to achieve and maintain SC clearance.
