  • *Talent Development Lead / Organisational Development Lead – Permanent – up to £57,000 per annum - exceptional Benefits – Government Organisation – Chelmsford**

Our client is a division of the central Government division based in Chelmsford who are looking for a HR / Organisational Development Lead/ Talent Development Lead to join their team on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities:
The purpose of this role is to lead in the development and implementation of a talent development framework across the organisation, with a focus on enabling early identification of talent and retaining staff. You will be responsible for providing development opportunities and a consistent and relevant succession planning approach, ensuring our diverse workforce is supported in the best possible way. Designing and implementing tailored development programs, focused on increasing and improving the diversity of our workforce. You will also be responsible for the development of career pathways, bringing innovative and relevant approaches to career development, including the identification of impactful entry level development programs (e.g. apprenticeships).

Ideal experience required for this role:
Ideally degree educated and/or CIPD qualified
Previous Talent Development Lead, HR Lead or Organisational Development Lead experience is desirable or similar
Ideally a track record in developing and implementing talent development frameworks, including succession planning, talent identification and retention.
Experience in designing and managing entry to work schemes (use of the apprenticeship levy will be a big bonus).
Ideally looking for an expert in the design and development of talent identification and development assessments using psychometric tools and comfortable developing innovative career pathways and development frameworks.
Strong experience in designing tailored development programs to support the diversity and inclusion roadmaps in an organisation.
A strategic thinker with strong diagnostic, problem solving and analytical skills
Building strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels
Excellent communication skills
Exceptional IT systems knowledge and experience
