  • *Compliance Partner – Permanent – up to £25,000 per annum – Public Sector – South Manchester**

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Compliance Partner to be based in South Manchester to provide support to national high profile clients. If you are interested in this role please send your CV urgently, there is a deadline on this role so respond early to avoid missing out.

Key Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for carrying out background screening checks for temporary and contract workers in line with legal requirements, client SLAs and internal processes. These include; ID & Right to Work checks, Employment/Education reference checks, Qualification checks, Credit and Criminal checks and Gap investigation. You will be accountable for creating compliance packs for all new starters, ensuring all checks are carried out in line with legislation and client requirements. Update candidate records with compliance information, follow approved compliance process, maintain and update compliance tracker. Escalate any anomalies to Compliance Team Lead, act as a point of contact for compliance queries and liaise with consultants to ensure candidate forms have been completed. You will also be responsible for contacting clients and candidates throughout the candidate screening process, as you are a point of contact for reference queries. Providing support to audits and various compliance projects.

Experience required for this role:
Previous experience with candidate pre-employment screening/ reference checking
Exposure to compliance procedures and best practice
Ability to manage a very busy workload within a fast paced environment
Strong attention to detail
Highly organised with ability to prioritise urgent tasks
Exceptional communication skills - ability to liaise with personnel/ senior executives at all levels
Strong team player
Strong understanding of MS Office suites including Word, Excel, Outlook
Excellent written and verbal skills
