Central London – Permanent – Salary circa £55,000 + benefits

Commissioning Manager (Contracts) – we are looking to recruit an experienced Commissioning Manager to work in the Third Sector for a personal finance consumer focused organisation, who operate on a not for profit basis. Based in the company office in London, you will play a key role in To managing supply chains of various compositions to deliver effective and efficient services in line with client needs, which hold an overall value of approx £20m+.

The post holder will be tasked with providing effective day to day management of debt advice agreements (grant or contract) ensuring providers deliver against budget; forecasts and all business plan objectives.

It is essential that the successful candidate possesses the following experience:

  • Ability to analyse complex data, draw insight conclusions, produce reports and make recommendations.
  • Expertise in managing operational services contracts with proven expertise in service delivery (client or supplier side) including rectifying performance shortfalls.
  • Relationship management and customer service skills.
  • Solid working knowledge of budget management, target setting and performance indicators.
  • Understanding of quality assurance techniques, continuous improvement and process development and a track record of delivering business improvement.
  • Ability to build relationships quickly and effectively with colleagues and 3rd party providers.
  • Strong prioritisation and planning skills.
  • Strong IT and MS Office (especially Excel) skills.
  • The post holder will be expected to travel occasionally and may be required to stay overnight away from home.

It is desirable that the successful candidate possesses the following experience:

  • Understanding of the Debt Advice landscape.
