  • *Orderbook Administrator – 6 months Contract – £14.38 ph PAYE - Leading Defence Organisation – Preston**

Our client is leading Defence organisation based in Preston who are looking for an Interim Order Book Administrator/ Coordinator to join their team on a 3 months contract.

Key Responsibilities:
Supporting the UK / Europe Repairs Team, accountable for the management of all Typhoon repair orders across our UK and European customers. You will be responsible for will include submission and maintaining of the daily order books in processing orders, tracking orders, providing f/cast dates, resolving queries and the constant reconciliation of the Order books for our Customers. Supporting ongoing systems activities after transition to the new ERP system, Infor LN. Running daily work queues in order to complete new order activities within internal timescales. Maintenance of Customer order books for submission of changes and updates directly to our Customers. Ensuring topical information, including Forecast dates and query details, is available for communication during regular Customer order book reviews.
Maintain systems data for all orders across multiple systems, including Infor LN, BaaN V and Access database tools, Interface with subject matter experts for new capability initiatives to ensure that future IT architecture changes are effective & efficient

Ideal experience required for this role:
Previous Order Book Administrator, Supply Chain, Purchasing experience
Ideally has worked within a Defence/ Manufacturing and/or Engineering industry sector
Order book management experience
Ability to work within a fast-paced and high-pressured environment
Must have exceptional communication and organisational skills
Strong stakeholder and supplier management
Good analytical and communication skills
Strong Microsoft Office package experience – Word/ Excel/ PowerPoint
