Planning Lawyer

Planning Lawyer required to join an excellent team of lawyers in a large Local Authority based in East Anglia.

The successful candidate will join the Planning and Environment team; duties to include:

  • Advising and negotiating on projects involving multiple agencies and client interests, including the third sector and charitable organisations
  • Reviewing, advising and drafting s106 Agreements, s275 Agreements, amongst others
  • To represent clients in negotiations and discussions with third parties in matters regarding the areas of legal practice relevant to the post
  • Act as a source of legal advice and support to any of the client Committees and Directorates as directed to cover the absence of colleagues

I would advise candidates of all levels of experience within this area of law to apply; although ideally experience of working within the public sector.

Whilst the organisation are happy to accommodate the successful candidate with some flexibility around working hours if required; both part time and full time candidates are encourage to apply for the post.
