HR Business Partner (Associate)

£45,000 - £55,000 6 month FTC

Overview:

As a HR Business Partner, you support the development and implementation of best practice HR strategies, policies, processes and solutions that enable the Business Units, specifically Global IT in London, to achieve their objectives.

You will deliver an exceptional value added HR service, giving advice and assistance to key stakeholders and employees, as well as challenging thinking and traditional approaches to find win/win solutions.

To coach managers, and ensure fair and consistent application across HR lifecycle activities, including:

  • Resourcing
  • Performance Management and Development in conjunction with the Talent Consultant
  • People Management and Employee Engagement
  • Compensation and Reward
  • Regulatory and company compliance

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide staffing support by managing the end to end recruitment process, including reviewing role profiles, liaising with agencies and interviewing candidates, to ensure we attract and recruit the right people to fill assigned open positions.
  • Work with and support the HR Advisory Team with offer letter and contract preparation, for review by Senior HR Business Partner.
  • Support the performance management process and help drive positive changes to ensure the appropriate management of people, and any issues are identified and addressed early.
  • Support the Head of HR, Senior HR Business Partner, and Talent Consultant with HR benchmarking and make recommendations for consideration, in respect of role and salary adjustments, promotions and in order to address potential retention issues.
  • Work with the Talent Consultant to coach Line Managers and Employees, conducting training on HR related issues including appraisals, performance management, recruitment and selection.
  • In partnership with local and Global HR colleagues, ensure that HR policies and strategies across the respective Business Units, are reviewed to ensure their continuing alignment to strategic and business objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with Company and HR standards, keeping appropriate records and operating processes in accordance with industry regulations, local law, market best practice and group policy (including GDPR).

Experience required:

  • 5+ years’ experience in the HR field
  • Experience dealing with TUPE
  • Working with IT teams in a complex matrix/global structure
  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent preferred
  • Broad understanding of Employee Lifecycle activities, operational HR and employment legislation.
  • Able to define problems or situations, logically diagnose root causes, identify value add solutions and follow up through to resolution.
  • Anticipates changing situations, needs, and expectations and maintains a flexible and agile approach.
  • Numerate with an ability to analyse and manipulate data to identify HR trends.
