This is a fantastic opportunity for an Accounts Assistant/ Sales Ledger Clerk/ Billing Specialist to join a small finance team working within a leading organisation based in Sale, South Manchester. Supporting the Credit and Billings Manager, you will be working within the Revenue & Reporting team and responsible for all reporting, billing and revenue reconciliations for the European Group Companies.
Your role will consist of; responsible for the self billing ledger, administering receipt of self bill invoices and payments, liaising with internal and external clients on self billing accounts. Weekly reconciliations of self bill accounts and cash flows. Liaising with internal and external clients for query resolution, resolving client queries and discrepancies in a timely manner. Maintaining accurate and up to date client records and action notes, preparing and posting of accrual journals, exporting and processing weekly temporary payroll invoice and credit note journals. Preparing and posting of weekly manual invoice and credit note journals. Achieve activity targets as set by Credit & Billings Manager and assisting with strategic initiatives.

Ideal experience required for this role:
Previous Revenue, Sales Ledger, Billings/ Invoices accounts experience is desirable
Finance/ Accounts industry background with a passion for accounts
Excellent IT systems knowledge and experience (Intermediate - Advanced level in Excel)
Strong reconciliation experience - ability to deal with a large volume of data
Experience of processing invoices, preparing and posting journals
Ability to handle high volume of data
Knowledge of self billing accounts is advantageous
Strong communication skills -ability to liaise with people at all levels within the business
Must be highly organized and methodical in your approach
Attention to detail and proactive approach
Ability to prioritise workloads and work well both autonomously and as part of a team
