SharePoint Administrator – 6 Months Contract - £325 Umbrella Day Rate – Cobham

Advantage Resourcing are working closely with a leading IT organisation recruiting for a SharePoint Administrator to join their dynamic team in Cobham.

The Role

The purpose of this SharePoint Administrator role is to support the client during a Migration from SharePoint 2010 to SharePoint Online.

Main Duties:

  • Analysing current data across multiple SP2010 sites
  • Identify areas that need to be addressed such as checked out document, broken permissions, exceptions such as Infopath forms, third party solutions
  • Mapping required data to SPO standard structure
  • Update the site structure based on discussions
  • Engaging with business stakeholders to identify, confirm and agree data to be migrated and site structure
  • Creating migration scripts using the Content Matrix Tool
  • Preparing the new sites (UI, structure, library creation)

The Successful SharePoint Administrator:

  • Confident in front of business stakeholders with strong communications skills to support users with the existing SP2010 and future SharePoint Online.
  • Site administration skills, Farm admin and some PowerShell experience. Alongside technical skills, they also need positive minded team players.
  • Any web development experience is a bonus (HTML, CSS).
